Information under § 25 TDDDG and Article 13 GDPR · Last updated: August 2026

The short version

This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel, no social plug-in and no external content of any kind. Nothing you do here is measured or shared.

Two small values are stored in your browser's local storage — not cookies, and never sent to us — so that the site remembers how you left it:

What is stored on your device

The language you chose from the EN / DE / LV switcher, so the site opens in that language next time. Stored until you clear your browser storage.

l120.notice

A note that you have already dismissed the storage notice at the bottom of the page, so it does not reappear on every visit. Stored until you clear your browser storage.

Both entries hold your own preference and nothing else. They contain no identifier, no session number and no information about you. They stay on your device and are never transmitted to our server, so we cannot use them to recognise you.

Why no consent banner asks for permission

Under § 25(2) TDDDG, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has expressly requested does not require consent. Remembering the language you have just selected is exactly that: without it, the site could not do the thing you asked it to do. The notice at the foot of the page is therefore information, not a request — there is nothing to refuse, because nothing is being tracked.

How to remove the stored values

Clearing site data for this domain in your browser removes both entries immediately. In Chrome and Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data. In Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data. In Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Using private or incognito browsing means nothing persists after you close the window.

If storage is blocked or unavailable, the site still works normally — it simply opens in English each time and shows the notice again.

Server logs

Separately from anything stored on your device, our hosting provider's web server keeps standard access logs, as every web server does. These are described in section 3 of our privacy policy.

If this changes

Should we ever add a service that does set cookies — a statistics tool, an embedded map, a video — we will introduce a proper consent banner that asks first and works if you say no, and this page will be updated before that service goes live.
